One of my absolute favorite movies of all time. I remember seeing this in theaters with my family and it was this huge thing when I was a youngin'. Now that I'm older, I swear I have seen this damn triology at least 500+ times and read the books about 3 times. I first read the books when I was in high school and soon took an interest in fantasy and elven lore. I was so obsessed with Lord of the Rings, me and my ex bonded over writing silly little poems to each other in elvish. An absolute a+ all star cast, however, my favorite characters are Éowyn, the shield maiden of Rohan, Gollum, a poetic monster and Faramir the second son of Denethor II. Reason why is because Éowyn is a complete woman badass, gollum in which I can relate to being an absolute horror, and Faramir because daddy issues. I shit you not I have seen these movies so many times, I know them by heart without even watching. I plan to make a few crochet patterns of LOTR soon too!
